Applied SmartSched is a breakthrough, predictive scheduling solution that optimizes movement of wafers through a litho cell. It takes factory-wide data from multiple manufacturing and plant floor systems (i.e., manufacturing execution systems), then runs the data through its prediction and scheduling engines to produce real-time production schedules every few minutes.
