Applied SmartSched
Applied SmartSched is a breakthrough, predictive scheduling solution that optimizes movement of wafers through a litho cell. It takes factory-wide data from multiple manufacturing and plant floor systems (i.e., manufacturing execution systems), then runs the data through its prediction and scheduling engines to produce real-time production schedules every few minutes. SmartSched is the first short-interval scheduling product to consider fab-wide events by looking upstream and downstream to predict lot arrival times. No other scheduling product can place a new, optimized schedule directly into the Applied Real-Time Dispatcher (RTD) system for immediate execution.
